She is always growing her own training, and her real goal is for you to walk out understanding your hair better than when you walked in. She works from Bella Trio Studio at American Tobacco Campus in Downtown Durham, the city she grew up in and still loves for its food, its history, and its beautiful mix of people, cultures, and hair.

Katt specializes in cuts and color for curly, wavy, and coily hair. If you have ever felt overwhelmed by your texture or buried in curl misinformation online, she is the honest, informed voice you have been looking for. She loves working with guests who have never quite embraced their natural texture, who want to play with color on their curls, or who want the freedom to wear their hair curly one day and straight the next. And no, she does not curl shame. Her blowouts are excellent.
