Amelia is one of the steady hands behind the scenes at Bella Trio Studio at American Tobacco Campus in Downtown Durham. As General Manager of Bella Trio and Location Director of Bella Terra, she floats between all three of our locations throughout the week, keeping operations smooth and making sure every guest and team member feels welcome, comfortable, and at ease.

Whether you need help with scheduling, have a question, or just want a little advice, Amelia is the person to find. Her coworkers describe her as unshakably calm, quick to handle whatever comes up, and genuinely kind to guests and staff alike. When someone walks in stressed or running late, her first move is to reassure them they are well taken care of, because she wants you leaving in a better mood than you arrived.

Outside of work, she is happiest cooking, painting with watercolors, or taking a spontaneous road trip, and she loves a good comedy show, concert, or basketball game. A local spot she cannot stop recommending is Yodith's Cakery in Chapel Hill, a newly opened, Black woman owned bakery with incredible desserts and homemade lemonade.
