Amelia's mornings start right here at Bella Terra in Hillsborough, where she opens the salon and gets everything ready for the day ahead. As Location Director of Bella Terra and General Manager of Bella Trio Salon and Spa, she then floats between all three of our locations, but Bella Terra is where her day begins and a place she holds close. Her constant goal is for every guest and team member to feel welcome, comfortable, and seen.

Guests lean on Amelia for scheduling, questions, advice, and anything that calls for a calm, capable presence. Her team will tell you she stays composed no matter what, handles situations promptly, and treats everyone, guests and coworkers alike, with attentiveness and real kindness. If you come in stressed or behind, she will put you at ease and make sure you are well taken care of.

When she is off the clock, Amelia loves to cook, paint with watercolors, and take little road trips, and she is always up for a comedy show, a concert, or a basketball game. One local favorite of hers is Yodith's Cakery in Chapel Hill, a new Black woman owned bakery with the most amazing desserts and homemade lemonade.
