Before Your Wax
For the best results, let your hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly two to three weeks of growth, so the wax can grip it. Exfoliate gently a day or two beforehand, and skip heavy lotions on the day of your appointment. Right after waxing, avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, saunas, and intense workouts for about 24 hours while your skin settles. If you are booking a lash lift, tint, or brow lamination before an event, schedule it two or more days ahead so any redness has time to fade.

How long should my hair be for waxing?
About a quarter inch, which is roughly two to three weeks of growth. If the hair is too short the wax cannot grip it, and if it is very long your provider can trim it before starting.
