The in-salon PowerMix treatments by L’Oréal Professionnel work to repair and deeply condition the hair in a way that is different from regular conditioner. Regular conditioner coats the outside of the hair strand, giving a fleeting feeling of moisture and softness, with effects wearing off after the next shampoo. On the other hand, a PowerMix hair treatment penetrates the cuticle of each hair strand and draws in moisture to condition, repair, and heal the cuticle. Because it works on a deeper level, conditioning treatments last approximately 8-12 washes.
