L’Oréal Professionnel recently revamped their Serie Expert packaging for a fresh look. Not only is it minimalistic and sleek, it’s functional. The new packaging is a small part of L’Oréal’s large efforts towards sustainable packaging, with more in the works!

The new bottles are made with recycled materials and are, likewise, recyclable. This means the amount of virgin materials are reduced and, instead, circulated for new containers. The production of these bottles are CO2 neutral and require less water in manufacturing.

As part of this initiative, you may also notice that some lines will no longer be in existence. Part of L’Oréal’s efforts included cutting down and discontinuing lines that weren’t giving people the results they wanted, thus keeping the stars of the brand.

When purchasing L’Oréal Professionnel products, be sure to rinse out the rest of the contents of the bottle when finished with the product. L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert bottles can be recycled, so don’t be shy. If you aren’t ready to recycle it just yet, the bottles make a perfect container for other products, like Fillaree soaps.
