At Bella Trio, we love our Bella’s. They are the heart and soul of our salon and the reason we are able to provide top-notch services to our clients in Durham and Hillsborough. We are proud to celebrate our Bella’s of the month for March: Kristen, Claire, and Kara. These three talented and dedicated women embody everything that Bella Trio stands for – passion, expertise, and exceptional customer service.
First up is Kristen, an esthetician and massage therapist. Kristen is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to providing relaxing and rejuvenating spa services. Her new combo services on the blog are a must-try for anyone looking to indulge in some self-care. Beyond her professional skills, Kristen is a unique individual with a fun and quirky personality. Did you know that she is majorly afraid of frogs? It’s true – despite her calm and soothing nature in the spa, Kristen has a fear of these small amphibians. On the flip side, she is a fearless adventurer who has been 62 feet deep in the ocean and had to outrun a waterspout on a jet ski once. As a child, Kristen originally wanted to be a dolphin trainer, showcasing her deep love and connection to nature. And if you thought she was just about relaxation, think again, Kristen completed a half marathon at the age of 36, proving that she is just as determined and resilient outside of the spa as she is within it. Next, we have Claire, our salon manager at our Durham location in Sutton station. Claire, 14 years at Bella Trio and 20 years in the hairstyling industry, is a seasoned professional with a passion for all things beauty. But there’s much more to her than meets the eye. Claire is an animal lover, a foodie, and an avid coffee and chocolate enthusiast. She lives in Apex with her husband, Alex, and their two dogs, Homer and Disco. Claire is someone who knows how to strike a perfect balance between work and play – she loves to be active, whether it’s trying out new restaurants in the area or going for a hike with her furry companions. Her dynamic personality and dedication to her craft make her an irreplaceable part of our team.
Last but certainly not least is Kara, a stylist at our downtown Durham location. Kara brings a burst of energy and creativity to everything she does. As a talented home-chef and baker, Kara loves to experiment with new recipes and flavors, and her passion for food shines through in her work as a hairstylist. She also has a one-year-old black lab named Tucker, who keeps her on her toes with his playful antics. Family is important to Kara, as she has an older and younger sister whom she holds dear. And of course, being from North Carolina, Kara is a diehard UNC fan. When it comes to music, Kara’s loves country music.
